1) What are the general requirements to hire a car with Rent a Car Argentina?

To hire a car with us the renter must be over 18 years of age, have a  credit card in their name and hold a full, clean valid  driving licence.
 

2) Do I need an International Driving Licence

If you hold a valid International Driving Licence issued in your country, you can use it in Argentina.

 

3) What is the minimun age I can rent a car in Argentina?

The minimun age to hire a car in Argentina is 18 years.
 

 4) How can I contact RentCarArgentina to make a reservation or get a quote?

You can get a quote and make a reservation by phone, email or do  contact our reservation centre by phone or email .
 

5) Do I need an Insurance cover to drive in Argentina?

Rent a Car Argentina provides a comprehensive car insurance as well as basic liability protection for bodily injury and  property damage to third parties within limits when the car is used in accordance with all terms and conditions of the rental  agreement.  
You must sign a credit card voucher for this protecction, which varies according to vehicle and model.
 

6) Can I rent a car per hour?

No. The minimum period of rental is 1 day during the week and 3 days at weekends.

7) How can I pay for the rental?

At Rent a Car Argentina we accept the following methods of payment: Cash (Pesos, Dollars, Euros), Traveller Cheques and  the following Credit Cards Visa, Mastercard, American.
 

 8) ¿Can I pay with another person’s credit card for payment of my rental?

 Yes, please note that the card’s owner must be present at the time of rental and show their ID, for example, their passport.
 

 9) Can I pay with more than one credit or debit card to pay for my rental?

 Yes, you can split charges among different cards.
 

10) Do I need to leave a credit car deposit?

Yes, for security reasons we will ask you to leave a deposit with a credit card. You will have to sign a credit card voucher which will be returned to you once the car is back to us.
 

11) How much is the deposit for?

The value of the deposit varies according to the vehicle and model.
    

12) Do you deliver the car to an speciffic location if necessary?

Yes, we can deliver and collect the car. This service is subject to a drop fee.
